We drove out Saturday to a U-Pick blueberry farm. The farm sits in a valley right at the base of Mt. Si. The view was spectacular. The berries were also amazing. I’ve never seen blue berries quite like these. They were huge!

Sunday morning we made blue berry pancakes.

I started on an endeavor with a co-workers significant other to do some barter. Paige is a blacksmith. We’ve talked about trading a period style cook box for a website. His end of the bargain is complete. The thing weights 100# plus. Very cool though. We’ll be breaking it in shortly.

Mary, Mike, Claire & Joe came have come to visit. We had a great dinner at Poppy & Charlie’s last night. The younger crowd seemed to have a good time playing together. We spoke with Claire for a while and we got really excited with the idea of her product testing and street reping products for MyEcoWear.com. This also got me to thinking that maybe we should enlist more people around the country that want to wear our clothing and spread the word.

We finally completed a crucial step of creating the color libraby for MyEcoWear.com. Now that we have this, there will be no doubt about how our designs will look once they’re printed.

We had a blast. We took a pretty large group camping with lots of kids running around. We all cooked food and did lots of drinking. Adrian and Brian spent a lot of time juggling. The dogs had fun playing together.

We spent a day at the beach, which was pretty nice for the North West.
I think that Lily looks like one of the kids from the Mad Max Thunder Dome Movie in the picture.

All-in-all, it was a great time.

I purchased this Lambretta scooter a few months ago from Scooters of Seattle. It’s been great. The first month or so I was riding in the rain which wasn’t as bad as it might sound. It get’s an avaerage of 70 MPG in the city. I figure at this rate, it should pay for itself in about 2 years.

We had a lot of wine and cheese. We ended up at El Ocho in Ballard. Very good food and as you can tell by the pics, very good drinks. We had a blast. It was nice to get a break from the kids.
